Data deletion
Last updated: August 24, 2026
1. Request deletion from Ontripper
Email mail@ontripper.com from the address on the account. Include the agency name and what you want deleted (the whole account, a guest conversation, or a Meta / WhatsApp connection).
We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for billing, dispute, or legal retention. Confirmation is sent to the requesting address. You can also start from our contact page.
2. Disconnect WhatsApp or Meta in the product
An agency administrator can stop new message processing without waiting for us:
- Dashboard → Settings → WhatsApp → disconnect the number. Inbound webhooks for that agency stop being processed.
- When Messenger or Instagram inbox is available: Settings → Social → disconnect the Page or Instagram account.
- Lead Ads: Settings → Integrations → disconnect the Page. That only stops new lead-form intake.
Disconnecting does not automatically erase historical conversations. Ask us if you also need those rows and media files removed.
3. Remove Ontripper from Facebook
If you used Facebook Login for Business (Lead Ads or a future social inbox):
- Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
- Find the Ontripper app and remove it.
- Optionally revoke Page permissions in Meta Business Suite → Users → Partners, or on the Page's business integrations.
Removing the app on Facebook stops new token use. Email us if you also want stored Page tokens and imported leads deleted from Ontripper.
4. What we delete
On a verified account-deletion request we delete or anonymize agency users, leads, conversations, WhatsApp and (when present) Messenger / Instagram messages, ingested media in Cloudinary, and encrypted provider tokens, except records we must keep for tax, billing, security logs, or legal claims. Those remaining records are limited to what the law requires and are not used for marketing.
5. Guests of an agency
If you messaged a travel agency on WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger and want that conversation removed, contact the agency first. They control their guest records. You may also email us; we will route the request to the agency where we can identify it.
